Platform for sharing and exchanging geographical marine data in lower Normandy
OGIVE: Tools for assisting in the integrated management and optimisation of shellfish ecosystems, Normandy
AGIL BN: Assistance for the integrated management of the Lower Normandy Coastline
OGIVE: To acquire knowledge about the functioning of shellfish ecosystems in order to create tools to optimise shellfish production (both in terms of quality and quantity), while preserving the environmental quality of the ecosystems supporting such activities. A great deal of geo-referenced data was acquired for this project: aerial photographs of shellfish production areas, bathymetry, hydro-biological parameters, biomass of farmed bivalves.
AGIL BN: The main objective of the AGIL project is to develop tools and skills in order to assist in decision-making for planning and managing the coastal environment in Lower Normandy.
