Abstract Observations of live megavertebrates from 29 different datasets collected in France and the United Kingdom were compiled to generate presence-only distributions in the CHARM3 study area. These include 35 species of large pelagic fishes and sharks, cetaceans, seals and sea turtles. The data span from 1835 - 2011 and come from both dedicated and opportunistic surveys from land, sea, or air.
