During the Directive Committee meeting of 21 March 2013, the creation of a "world heritage" cartographic Sextant catalogue was validated. This theme concerns all of the partners of the framework agreement in their roles as managers within the UNESCO world heritage series under the title "Lagoons of New Caledonia: Reef Diversity and Associated Ecosystems". The catalogue is also used and supplied by the CEN who coordinate and manage the 6 UNESCO world heritage sites.
To provide communities' technical services with a tool for storing, sharing and distributing cartographic data in order to manage the 6 UNESCO world heritage sites under the title "Lagoons of New Caledonia: Reef Diversity and Associated Ecosystems".
