Along-track altimetric measurements averaged over 1 second, corrections to apply in delayed time (GDR), near-real time (IGDR) or real-time (OGDR).
In July 2023, SWOT data (mission launched on 16/12/2022) from the nadir altimeter (NATL) are available in real time (OGDR) and near-real time (IGDR). Delayed-time GDR from the NATL nadir altimeter will be broadcast by the end of 2023. (O/I)-GDR data from the SWOT Advanced Microwave Radiometer (AMR) are also available.
Use: from operational oceanography and marine meteorology (real time products) to the study of ocean variability.
Description: mono altimeter satellite products available in near-real time and in delayed time. GDRs files are divided into three families, distinguished by increasing latency and accuracy, going from the near-real time data (OGDR) to the delayed-time data (IGDR, GDR):
GDR (delayed-time): Geophysical Data Record
IGDR (near-real time) : Interim Geophysical data record
OGDR (real time) : Operational Geophysical data record
S-GDR : Sensor Geophysical Data Record (waveforms) : SIGDR (near-real-time), SGDR (delayed-time)
