Fish NGS sequences associated to cetaceans from eDNA samples
In order to better characterize the fish biodiversity associated to the presence of cetaceans, especially the common Dolphin, from the Bay of Biscay, sequences from a 16S fragment were obtained from water samples acquired close to groups of dolphins.

A total of 21 Waterra capsules were used to samples about 80l of water close to groups of dolphins in the Bay of Biscay in June 2022. DNA was extracted and libraries were construted for a 16S mitochondrial fragment. After purification, 8 replicates of each sample were submitted to NGS sequencing.
