Satellite Monitoring of Turtles in the Western Mediterranean
The aim of satellite monitoring is to understand the spatial and temporal distribution of marine turtles (movements monitored in real-time to the nearest kilometer). Furthermore, monitoring turtles released from this treatment centre enables us to check whether the turtles are capable of readapting to their environment, even after receiving care for a considerable amount of time, and whether they are able to migrate.
