This data set contains the observations collected by the SOFAR Spotter drifting wave buoys deployed during the SUMOS campaign (Principal Investigators: P. Sutherland, LOPS, D. Hauser, LATMOS), which took place in the Bay of Biscay from 2021/02/08 to 2021/03/08.

During this cruise, 20 buoys were used in a total of 55 deployments, yielding more than 5300 hours of wave data.

The files contain the buoy tracks, the vertical displacement frequency spectra and the (a1/b1/a2/b2) spectral moments as a function of frequency and time, retrieved from high-speed (1.28 Hz) GPS position measurements.
