Abstract Map at 1 degree resolution of 50-year linear trend in sea water temperature at 3 levels: surface, 500m, bottom.
Keywords Atlantic - CH04 - Climate, High level analyzed, Delayed, Oceanographic geographical features, Draft
Utilisation Good: The product meets more than 50% of the objectives specified by the challenge

• Most objectives were achieved for that product (both spatial and temporal coverage) • Spatial resolution of 1 degree is suitable for global scale analysis; • Well validated data source, with high quality QC. • Data are available in a well documented format including metadata. • Surface temperature change product would be classified as excellent. For the 500m and bottom compinent change is assessed as the difference between 2 decades 50 years apart rather than trend over 5 decades.

This EMODnet Atlantic Checkpoint data product (the “Product”) is the result of a “challenge” stress test specified by the call for tenders No MARE/2012/11.
