C. gigas genitors were sampled in breeding or non-breeding areas from Brittany, Marennes oleron Bay, Arcachon bay and Thau lagoon. Heigt families of C. gigas spat were produced in La Tremblade hatchery. These spat were experimentally infected with OsHV-1 virus from oyster of Marennes-Oleron bay. Moribund oysters and contaminated seawaters between post-infection were sampled. The DNA was extracted (Magattract kit for oyster/QIAamp DNA Mini Kit for seawater) and transfert to the Integragen sequencing platform, all samples were sequenced using Illumina sequencing technology (NovaSeq 6000 PCR free). |
