RAD-sequences of Crassostrea gigas X Crassostrea angulata families
512 oysters from 10 F2 and Back-Cross families between the Pacific oyster (Crassostrea gigas) and the Portuguese oyster (Crassostrea angulata) were studied via a RAD sequencing approach in the framework of the ANR project HYSEA.

In order to study the hybridization between the two closely related species, Crassostrea gigas and Crassostrea angulata, 10 F2 and BC families were produced in hatchery. The DNA of 512 oysters was extracted and RAD seq libraries were produced. Two flow cells were used on a Hiseq 2500 to sequence (Single Read 100) the 512 individuals. |
